Congratulations to the Winners of #TechblazerAward2021
Inspire-Tech is delighted to share with you about our recent contribution to the success of the Techblazer Awards 2021.
Techblazer is an accolade for tech innovation; the highest one in Singapore. The Award aims to provide recognition and endorsement to local organisations that demonstrate the spirit of innovation in their development of tech products and services and/or their use of tech to achieve excellence. It also intends to spur winning companies to innovate further and achieve more on a regional/international scale – in turn, also encouraging other companies to do so.
Inspire-Tech co-sponsored the Silver and Bronze Awards for the Student Awards, one of the three award categories.
- Silver Award: S$1,800 cash prize. Awarded to ITE College Central for their Contactless Sanitary Door Monitoring System – a system that improves the maintenance and safety of toilets amid the pandemic situation, as well as the
- Bronze Award: S$1,200 cash prize. Awarded to NUS High School for their Loci – a web-first, real-time online whiteboard app for schools and communities

Our decision to champion TechBlazer stems from how our aims and values align with theirs -to discover and encourage the next generation of innovators within the tertiary education community, in hopes that participating students carry forward this spirit when they enter the workforce and continue to leverage on emerging technologies to fulfil market needs and carve out new markets, as per the criteria of the submitted solutions.
Indeed, a common theme among participants’ opinion is how they have been able to push themselves and be grounded up higher through expert and professional advice and opinion, as seen in this video.
To this token, Felix Tan from the Skilio Portfolio Platform team concluded, “We took part in the Techblazer Awards because we want to get feedback from mentors and industry partners. And also, because of that, we were able to gain new insights into our project and our ideas”.

All that’s well need not end – Inspire-Tech will continue to invest in youth talent through various initiatives, through similar events as well as our hiring of youth and young professionals newly-initiated to tech sphere for our various in-house internships and traineeships.
