I believe that if you only do what you can do, then you will never be more than what you are now. While working in Inspire-Tech, I have been presented with a myriad of challenges in which I was not exposed to before, placing me in an environment where I have to learn, adapt and grow out of my comfort zone. This experience has made me realise my potential which is why I enjoy working in the company. Working here has also made me grow in the finance domain which I specialise in, improving my breadth of finance experience.

Working at Inspire-Tech provides me with an environment that encourages me to learn how to be goal driven and organized. I am also presented with the opportunity to work with passionate professionals around the globe which gives me great exposure to sights and experiences I have not been exposed to before. Prior to working here, I was a pure technical implementer, working here, I gradually learned to back away from technology and see the bigger picture enabling me to contribute outside of technical areas. When it comes to leadership, I am now a master of my job, understanding and building upon my strengths. I have also learnt to build relationships, be solution-oriented, how positive encouragements can empower others as well as listening and learning from others to be a better leader of not only the people around me but myself.

Here at Inspire-Tech, the working environment makes me feel like we are all one big family. Working here as an intern I am also exposed to the technical side of IT, which may potentially benefit me better when I return back to school for my next semester. Although I am just an intern here, working here has improved my technical skills and understanding of IT related terms better. The exposure that I have received from the company has also allowed me to learn more in depth in my software skills as well as work on improving them. I have also developed the initiative and responsibility in taking charge of the tasks that I have been assigned.

Having a friendly workplace environment is one of the factors that I think heavily contributes to having an enjoyable workplace. Not only does Inspire-Tech have that, colleagues here are also friendly and helps one another. On top of all that, productivity is not compromised despite the fun we have. Inspire-Tech supports the growth of my family life by allowing me to fulfill my role as a mother. When I decided to have kids, the company allowed me flexible working hours during pregnancy where I could work from home and go to for medical treatments or checkups when needed. Even after pregnancy, I have a flexible schedule and I'm able to send my kids off to school.

Inspire-Tech has a flexible, family-like, politics free environment in which I enjoy greatly as it makes my working journey here much more pleasant. Working in the company has made me become more confident in myself thus leading to developing better people skills. I have also learnt to develop different strategies to comply to different situations in the office.
At Inspire-Tech, although it’s a technology company, every employee here, regardless of gender, is presented with the same opportunities where gender inequality is non-existent.

Learning is an important process in our lives. Here at Inspire-Tech, I am able to broaden my horizons by learning new things from my colleagues every day, where we would work together to solve problems to deliver to our clients.
Working here, I have become more curious as a person, questions such as “why is it like this/that”, “how to solve this issue?” runs through my mind more often and it makes me excited to seek the answers so that I am able to learn something new. Traditionally, the IT sector has a larger number of males over females, but here at Inspire-Tech, there is a good ratio of both genders and we all treat each other fairly.

I initially started to work at Inspire-Tech as a software developer. Afterwards my ability to learn was recognized and I was given a chance to grow as a team lead and the product architect. In our company, learning never ends. Every day I keep learning new things about technology and working in a multi-cultural team.

At Inspire-Tech, I am constantly presented with new challenges which by working on it, enables me to learn new things. Working here at Inspire-Tech has allowed me to acquire new knowledge, both technical and professional in my domain. Leadership wise, I was given the opportunity to lead the expansion to a new market which made me appreciate working at Inspire-Tech more.

In Inspire-Tech, I have grown to be more of a leader as compared to being a doer in my previous job. Here, I am being placed in a position whereby there is ownership and empowerment. I am able to learn and hone my people management skills through managing people. This experience provides me with new exposure and growth. In terms of leadership, I mentor the employees here such that they have the necessary skills needed to perform their tasks in areas of finance and business process analysis. I also establish 2 way communication such as asking for feedback etc

I had the opportunity to hone my leadership skills especially during our "lunch and learn" sessions while facilitating the sessions which made me appreciate our multi-cultural team more. Everyone is a specialist in their own field and working together, we achieve obstacles which alone seems tough. Also working here at Inspire-Tech has made me learn more about technology which can be applied to both work and personal life. I have also grown to have better time management skills.
